Welcome to Rebrief

2 min read

Rebrief writes your clinical notes and fills your charts while you work with a patient. Everyone on your clinical team can use it.

What Rebrief does for you

  • It writes the note as you talk. The note starts blank, with no template. Rebrief fills the standard sections, such as findings, diagnosis, procedure and plan.
  • It charts what you say. Name a tooth and what you found, and the tooth chart updates. Probing numbers fill the perio chart once you start charting.
  • It polishes the note when you finish. Select End, and Rebrief checks the note against the whole visit. It can also suggest lines a records reviewer would expect to see.
  • It answers clinical questions. Ask by voice or by typing, and get an answer that shows its sources.

The areas in the left rail

  • Scribe is your home screen, with your recent appointments. You start new appointments here.
  • Evidence gives cited answers to clinical questions.
  • Learn turns the questions you asked into continuing education credit.
  • Tasks is where you ask Rebrief to do a job in your practice software.
  • Patients holds your patient list and records.
  • Templates holds your note, document and form templates.
  • Settings holds the settings for your account and clinic.

Your plan decides which areas you see, so some clinics have fewer.

Tip: Start on Scribe. It is the first screen you see and the quickest way back to your work.

Inside an appointment

An appointment opens as a row of tabs, starting with the transcript and the note. On a computer, the tooth chart and the perio chart stay beside the note the whole time. + Create, near the end of the row, makes new things, such as a document, a form or another note.

After the appointment

Once the appointment has ended, you can highlight any part of the note and type what to change. Rebrief can also remember how you like your notes written.
