Meet the Rebrief agents

Rebrief's AI does a few separate jobs. This article covers each one you can use today.

Scribe

The Scribe listens during an appointment and writes the clinical note. It also charts what you say on the tooth chart and the perio chart. When you select End, it polishes the note against the whole visit and reviews the chart. You can read and change everything it wrote.

The medicolegal check

After End, Rebrief reads the finished note against the whole visit. It looks for what a records reviewer would expect to see, such as consent, the anesthetic or post-op instructions. It suggests only what the visit implies and nobody mentioned. Often there is nothing to suggest.

Each suggestion appears as a faded line where it belongs in the note. Add puts it in, and adding it is your word that it happened. Skip leaves it out. Rebrief never adds one for you, and it offers at most three.

A shield on the note's bar shows where the check stands.

• Before End, it reads Checks for medicolegal omissions at End.
• When nothing is missing, it reads No medicolegal omissions found.
• When something is, it counts what is left to check. Select it to go to the first one.
• On a finished note that was never checked, it reads Check for medicolegal omissions. Select it to run the check.

On a narrow note, the shield uses shorter words or shows on its own.

Once the appointment has ended, Regenerate runs the check again on the rebuilt note. It checks only the note on the Note tab.

Evidence

Evidence answers clinical questions. Ask by voice, in the Ask-anything bar or in Evidence itself. Each answer leads with key points and carries numbered citations you can open. During an appointment, an answer can be tailored to the patient in front of you, and it says so.

Learn

Learn turns the cited answers you read into short units for the evening. They count toward continuing education credit, and you can download a certificate.

Tasks

Tasks carries out jobs in your practice-management software for you. It works through the Rebrief Bridge, the desktop app on the clinic computer. Before it changes anything, it shows a card headed Approve this change? with what will change. You can approve it once, for the whole task, or always for that kind of change on that computer. Decline stops it.

Tasks carries a Beta tag. It appears on plans that connect to your practice software.
